The Lovebirds

If you love Issa Rae like me then you will like this movie. If not I still think it is worth looking at. Those of you who know Issa know that, in any show or movie she's in she is always having relationship troubles. Poor girl. In "The Lovebirds" Leilani and Jibraun fall for each other, hard and super fast. Everything seems to be going right, but fast forward a few years it seems they have lost that "spark" for each other and why they fell in love the first place causing them to break up. This bickering couple gets into a bit of trouble when they get caught in a carjack and a deadly hit and run that leaves them looking like the murderers. Because they are two minorities they decide to go on the run, because who will believe them or trust what they say? They see and experience so many things on the run from a man trying to kill them (one of them being a weird sex cult initiation). In the end they finally get that spark back after one crazy night on the town. You can find this movie on Netflix.
