The Flash

The show is based on the DC Comics. Barry Allen is a forensic scientist. One day he was working on a case late when he was caught in the blast of the accelerator at S.T.A.R labs exploding causing him to be struck with lightning. This made him go into a coma for 9 months and when he woke up he found out he had superhuman speed and other abilities. He uses his new abilities to fight crime in the city and protect people from meta-humans (people who were also caught in the blast from the accelerator). Barry and his team face numerous battles to save not only their city, but the world. The amount of times Barry is faced with death is too much I've stopped counting. This is on Netflix. All 6 season are now available.
